JINS ASSIST Precautions for Use

Safety Precautions

Please carefully read the following safety instructions and use the product correctly and handle it appropriately. JINS ASSIST is not a medical device. JINS ASSIST and its related apps cannot be used for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease, medical condition, or injury. If any abnormality occurs, stop using it immediately and contact the JINS Customer Support Center. Continuing to use the product in a malfunctioning state may cause harm to your body. Safety precautions are categorized into "Warning" and "Caution" to clearly indicate the severity and urgency of potential harm or damage.

Indicates content where failure to follow instructions could potentially result in death or serious injury. Indicates content where failure to follow instructions could potentially result in injury or property damage. Indicates prohibited actions. Indicates mandatory actions.

If foreign objects such as water or metal fragments enter JINS ASSIST, stop using it immediately and remove the product from the device. Continued use may cause fire or electric shock.

If JINS ASSIST is generating heat, emitting smoke, or has a strange odor, stop using it immediately and remove JINS ASSIST from your glasses and device. Continued use may cause fire or electric shock.

Avoid the following actions: [Dropping/Hitting/Bending/Deforming/Puncturing/Painting/Wetting JINS ASSIST] Using the product while damaged may cause fire or electric shock. In the unlikely event that JINS ASSIST is damaged, stop using it immediately and remove JINS ASSIST from your glasses and computer.

Do not disassemble, modify, or repair JINS ASSIST. Doing so may cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction. Repairs or modifications made by parties other than our company will void the warranty in case of failure.

Do not throw JINS ASSIST into fire. It may burst, causing fire or injury.

Do not place JINS ASSIST near open flames such as gas stoves, candles, or heaters, or expose it directly to hot air from hair dryers, etc. This may cause discoloration, deformation, damage, overheating, ignition, malfunction, or injury.

When unplugging the USB cable from the USB port, always hold the plug at the end to pull it out. Also, do not touch it with wet hands. This may cause fire or electric shock.

JINS ASSIST uses magnets. Do not use if you wear medical devices such as pacemakers or electrically operated implanted devices. Also, do not bring JINS ASSIST near people wearing these devices.

If you experience discomfort such as eye fatigue, tiredness, nausea, or symptoms similar to motion sickness due to prolonged use, stop using the product and take a break until you recover. Consult a doctor if necessary.

Do not place JINS ASSIST in the following locations: ・Inside a car exposed to sunlight, in direct sunlight, near heating appliances, or other high-temperature areas ・Humid places or where condensation occurs ・Uneven surfaces or places prone to vibration ・Near magnets or other places where magnetic fields are generated ・Dusty places

Keep out of reach of small children. Swallowing parts may cause unexpected accidents or injuries.

JINS ASSIST is not waterproof. Use or store it in a place where it will not be exposed to liquids such as water. Rain, splashes, juice, coffee, steam, sweat, etc., can also cause malfunction.

If you have allergies or sensitive skin, you may experience physical abnormalities or worsening symptoms. If you experience any physical abnormalities, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor.

Handling Precautions

To prevent damage or malfunction of JINS ASSIST, please pay attention to the following points and handle it correctly.

• Attach JINS ASSIST to your glasses carefully with both hands.
• Do not use for purposes other than as a computer mouse.
• Do not use with equipment where malfunction of JINS ASSIST could have serious consequences.
• JINS ASSIST cannot be operated accurately in places subject to vibration, such as while riding in a car or train, walking, or exercising.
• Remove JINS ASSIST from your glasses when not performing mouse operations.
• Do not apply heat or use in high-temperature locations.
• Dispose of JINS ASSIST according to the regulations of your local municipality.
